1983: Born In Öster Vrenninge, Sweden, first of four children
1991: Began ground school with pink sport-trousers, black and white striped pullover, a red rucksack and rubber boots. Was deadly scared of going with the school bus for the first time.
1999: Finished three years of torment at upper compulsory school, decided to leave it all behind. Moved -only 16 years old -600 km down to Skåne in south of Sweden for upper secondary school, to study ceramics and pottery.
2002: Graduated from upper secondary school. Got a job through Ninukot and enden up in Iceland for working at a farm milking Icelandic cows. Nine months in Iceland and I’ll never forget it.
2003: Came home to my parents for the first time in four years. No spare room left so I moved out to the hen house. Worked at a Swedish diary farm with 125 cows for about four months. Got tired and took a job in Dublin.
2004: Worked at a four-star hotel in Dublin -Crowne Plaza -for half a year as an accommodation assistant. Shared a three room apartment with Swedish friends. Now I can’t stand Guinness any more.
2004: Backpacked my way home from Ireland through France, Switzerland, Germany and Denmark.
2005: Applied for a job as a security guard and was chosen out as one of two from 180 applicants. Turned out to be the best job I’ve had so far.
2005: A two week long trip to Shanghai and Tibet for to visit my (working) boyfriend to be, made me love China. Want to go back. At least Shanghai. Awesome town.
2006: Still working as a guardian. Made a two week long trip to Taiwan, Kaohsiung. From Swedish early spring to humid summer heat. Now I often dream of Taiwanese dumplings with shrimps.
2006: Began a new life in Sweden’s second largest town Gothenburg together with boyfriend.
2007: Left the building. Spent three months in Aussie-land.The dream-journey of my life.
2008: Back in Lagom-land. Got a new interest -windsurfing.
2009: Attended a course about Restoration at Gothenburg University and was thinking of to start studying for real. I have to grow up sometime!
2009: Perhaps this is it? Began to study Gardening Engineering at the Swedish University of Agriculture. Had to move away from Gothenburg and boyfriend for about three years.
